The Watchdog is the organisation’s newsletter which is entirely youth-authored with articles written by YCSRR members, peer activists and partner organisations. It is part of the YCSRR's advocacy and public education activities and was first produced at the Youth Forum in The Hague in February 1999.
The Watchdog publishes facts and information on topics such as sexual and reproductive health education, and access to services in different countries. It also gives the YCSRR an opportunity to assess how negotiations are proceeding and a voice to express the organisation’s opinions, views and hopes as to how the government delegations would address the sensitive issues surrounding adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights.
This newsletter is a great opportunity to share the experience of YC members at different spaces and events with everyone. The Watchdog is shared with anyone who subscribes to the newsletter as well as it is shared at most international conferences and events the YCSRR attends.
