  • Yewo Grace Gondwe is a Human Rights Activist and SRHR advocate. She has worked with community and human rights based projects with Non-Governmental Organizations for more than three years in Malawi. She volunteered with Plan International Malawi as a peer educator where she supported young people with delivery of SRHR, GBV and other related topics in Malawi. Yewo is an active member of the national SRHR CSOs advocacy platform and has coordinated several advocacy initiatives around Safe Abortion, Comprehensive Sexuality Education, Harmful Cultural Practices, and Minority Rights at National and District level. She embodies a Rights Based and Gender Transformative approach in executing her roles in the aforementioned areas.

    She is currently working with the Malawi Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance as a Programme Advocacy Coordinator.

  • Yewo Holds a Bachelors Degree of Social Science with a major in Development Studies from University of Livingstonia. She loves traveling, listening to music and currently lives in Lilongwe, Malawi.
