Shreya is a public health graduate working currently working as Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Program Officer at YUWA, a youth led youth run NGO based in Kathmandu Nepal. As an intersectional feminist, she believes in transformative change and that Comprehensive Sexuality Education plays an important role in achieving generation equality.
Shreya is a young SRHR and gender activist currently working as the SRHR program coordinator at YUWA, a leading youth led and run organization in Youth SRHR and CSE in Nepal. She has more than five years of experience in the sector of SRHR and CSE. She is also the focal point from YUWA and Steering committee member of Right Here Right Now (RHRN) consortium of Nepal which focuses on empowering Young people aged 15 - 30 in all their diversity to exercise Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in a supportive social and enabling legal environment in Nepal. Additional to that she is also the member of Asia Network on SOGIE & GBV convened by OutRight Action International.
Her work and advocacy ranges from national, regional to international level focusing on providing young people with accurate, scientific and evidence based information and knowledge with a keen focus on digitization of CSE for wider reach and access. Her other line of work includes generating public support for CSE as well as strengthening networks, allies and partnerships for CSE and SRHR through National CSE advocacy coalition and CSE thematic working group and other collaborations.
She was recently one of the youth solution speakers for SDG at the Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) 2022. She delivered a video intervention at the 47th Human Right Council Interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on protection against violence & discrimination based on sexual orientation & gender identity. She was also involved in drafting the oral statement for Nepal’s UPR adoption session and also served as the youth focal point for Asia Regional Focal Point Workshop for FP2020.

Shreya is a passionate intersectional feminist and gender equality activist who loves to play with her dog, cook and eat a lot of food and binge watch shows ranging from rom-coms to horrors and documentaries in her free time.
