Her dedication to representing and working for young people can be seen in her work with Curious Minds Ghana, UNHCR Ghana, The Hunger Project Ghana, UNICEF Ghana, UNFPA Ghana, and the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Network.
She has been involved on national and international forums as a SheDecides 25x25 Young Leader in Ghana, sharing her advocacy experiences and young people's participation for the attainment of the SDGs and beyond. Her Spark Grant Project, called 'My Body, My Choice,' resulted in delivering information on contraceptive access for women and young people, as well as raising awareness about reducing sexual and gender-based violence in Ghanaian slum communities.
Erica is currently the Co-Leader of the SheDecides Ghana Movement, which is driving change for bodily autonomy and mobilizing community actions to ensure that every woman and girl Stands Up and Speaks Out for her rights.
By 2030, Erica wants to see a world where every girl and woman has the right to bodily autonomy and the human rights of young people are respected. A world where young people are effectively engaged, economically empowered, and have adequate access to education and health services.
