Lorraine is currently completing a Master of Public Health program at Western University. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s honours degree in Psychology. During her undergrad, she has been involved with adolescent research to better understand factors that impact youth mental health. Besides academia, she engages in volunteering with the community and be part of organizing numerous community events.
Lorraine engages in youth health and rights, and she hopes to contribute to the policy-making process from a young people perspective. She believes that projects investing in youth and decisions that reflect the voices of the youth would stage the success of the society
Lorraine likes to spend time with her cats in her spare time, and sometimes she will take them on a short walk. She also enjoys cooking and baking, which she could share good food with her friends and family. In summer, she will go outdoor and play tennis with her friends.
