I am passionate about women’s rights and SRHR, and I intend to write my master’s thesis on youth advocacy on SRHR in Indonesia with a particular focus on youth perception of their sexuality in the Muslim context. I am currently doing an internship at RutgersWPF, a centre of expertise on sexual and reproductive health and rights, in Jakarta, Indonesia. I wish to gain more experience in SRHR for young people in South East Asia as I fell in love with the region since my first volunteer experience in a school in Iloilo City, Philippines. I gained experience in the fields of project management and EU funding when doing an internship at the Cooperation Section of the European Union Delegation to Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and ASEAN, in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am a very-committed person who volunteered in non-profit organisations promoting human rights, such as Care in Ireland, Amnesty International and France Terre d’Asile in France.
In my spare time, I love traveling, reading, diving and doing yoga. I am interested in languages and cultures, and I am currently learning Bahasa Indonesia. I am a MA student in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action majoring in Global Health and South and Central Asia at the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po Paris, France.
