Chanda Manda is a feminist and youth advocate. She is currently pursuing Master of Transformative Community Development at Mzuzu University in Malawi. Chanda is also doing an online course on Project Management in Global Health with the University of Washington. Chanda is currently working with Banja La Mtsogolo (a senior member of Marie Stopes International) as a Reproductive Health Coordinator. But She has also previously worked as a project officer for more than 2 Years in 2 NGOs on SRHR, GBV, HIV/AIDS, women economic empowerment related projects. She won an opportunity to attend an SRHR leadership program in South Africa in 2018 where she won an Oscars Award for being SRHR celebrity. Chanda is an active member of the Malawi SRHR youth hub and Malawi Youth Action Movement at national level and she supports more than 20 youth clubs at district level.
Chanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. She has a certificate in Research methodology. At her free time Chanda enjoys sporting activities and watching movies.
