Proper and equitable accessibility to adequate sexual and reproductive health services for youth; LGBTQ+ SRH in detention facilities, juvenile facilities and immigration centres; accessibility to inclusive and informative SRH education for youth
Audrey is passionate about equal opportunities and equal access to education and health services for youth around the world. She is currently in my third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a specialized minor focusing on Conflict and Human Rights on the international scale. She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work, and to complete a field placement in Africa in order to gain work experience working internationally. Currently, she is an executive volunteer for the uOttawa Pride club, which organizes and hosts events for LGBTQI+ students, allies and friends to talk about ongoing regional, national and international issues for the community.
In her spare time, Audrey enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures, sceneries and customs. She is also a huge photo junkie, so she loves bringing her camera out to capture the beautiful scenes. She's recently taken up sewing and embroidery in the hopes of one day being able to repurpose and sew her clothes.
